Description

This auction is for my dad's Honda CB400N Super Dream. which at 37 years old (T reg) is certainly a classic.  It's been sitting in a garage for a lot of years now without being touched. so is a non runner and would make a good project for restoration.  I did a lot of miles on this myself and it was comfortable to ride and more powerful than the more common 250 version.  I've tried to take a lot of photos so you can see the condition. however I would always recommend  coming to see it so you can judge for yourself how much work it needs.  Any bids are to buy and not to see if it's what you want.  Any opinion I've offered on condition is just that and I'm no expert. Some of its features includeFull Rickman FairingV5 presentTop BoxTwin front Brakes41k original mileageElectric start and Kick startSeat in good condition with no ripsHave the original mirrors just not pictured. Aftermarket rear springs/shocks and exhaust (not sure how good it is)Some of the bits that will clearly need workMost of the Chrome parts have surface rust. some worse that others. but I think a lot could be saved and re chromedFront wheel seized. discs aren't rusted so one or both callipers are seized. Fuel tank has rust on it although it still sounds solid so may be superficial. still some fuel in tank so no leakFront forks move. but I haven't moved them much as they have rust spots onEngine is an unknown. although it and the gearbox were working perfectly when it stopped being used. which was a long time ago. Cash on collection only and the buyer is responsible for arranging the collection of the bike.  UK bidders only please. Please ask any questions and I will try to answer them. but please remember I only really ride bikes and my technical knowledge isn't great.
