Relisted AGAIN thanks to VERNON17316. seriously. people like you are a waste of space. What does it prove to bid on something you have no intention of buying? Other than highlighting your intelligence level. Please only bid if you actually have the required funds and are going to complete the deal. I am honest and straight when it comes to buying and selling on Ebay as my feedback proves. and i do expect buyers to be likewise. Here we have a Honda CB250N Superdream of 1980 vintage suitable as a restoration project or ride as it is. I acquired it from an old boy locally who has owned it since 1990 when it had done around 20. 00 miles and is currently showing 28. 67 which equates to a stunningly low 342 miles a year on average! I have most of the old MOT certificates from that date to prove. When i got it. it hadn't been started for a while so i drained the carbs and tank. gave it some fresh fuel and with jump leads (the battery is missing) she fired up almost instantly and ran very smoothly although with a bit of camchain noise. I then warmed it up and changed the oil (the old oil came out clean). Everything works on it. all the lights. orn. tc. gears and clutch. rakes and suspension. and it rides very well. Cosmetically it is as one would expect of an original 35 year old bike. The tank has a dent in the rear (see photo) and the paint is faded/scratched/chipped but is sound and the locking fuel cap works. The indicators have seen better days but all work. although a couple of them have been taped on. Aftermarket indicators would be a good idea in the long run. The exhaust is non-original Motad system and apart from tarnish is sound and strong. The front tyre is right on it's limit (might JUST pass another MOT??). the rear is very good. I'll have a rummage in my tyre stock and if i find one of suitable size i'll include it in the sale. There is an adjuster for the camchain on the rear of the barrels but as i don't have a manual for it i haven't tried to adjust it. So in summary. with a new battery and MOT(? front tyre) you could wipe it over with an oily rag and ride it as is. Or it'll be an excellent restoration project. Parts are readily available from either Honda or David Silver spares. I don't have a buy-it-now price in mind and am quite happy to let the auction run it's course. although if you are seriously interested and prepared to actually come and see the bike then maybe we can talk over a cuppa. Collection is from Cardigan . est Wales. SA43. Payment is cash on collection. contact to be made by the winning bidder within 24 hours of the auction ending. and PAYMENT IN FULL WITHIN 7 DAYS please.
