1979 HONDA CX500 TRIKE

for sale is my honda cx500 trike. bought 2 years ago for my wifes benefit(who wasnt that fussed about it!!)we are now separated so i am selling it. it has been a trike for approx 5 years having been converted and tested by the previous owner. i have done quite a bit of work since purchase. t has been professionally resprayed in red shimmer over black and in the sun it really stands out. the frame was repainted and the wiring to the rear lights was replaced. n illuminated number plate was fitted at this time along with led's to front and rear. i also fitted a cx650 front end(forks. heel. rakes)as this has a fork brace and makes the front end more stable at speed. it has custom bars fitted with tinted custom mirrors. cx500 fairing and screen fitted. it has 2 topboxes fitted which fit full face helmets. i made up a removable frame for passenger use and there is a rear rack fitted. it has a king/queen seat which is very comfy. i have replaced the clutch and it had an oil and filter change at the same time. t has done only about 500 miles since this was done. apart from the frame itself all the metal parts have been powdercoated. it has a reliant rear axle which is standard size(not cut down) and is fitted with minilite wheels with virtually new tyres. front tyre is also in excellent condition. exhaust is 2 into 1 with a megaphone silencer and removable baffle. it is currently on sorn but mot is valid til 15/04/2014viewing is highly recommendedcash on collection is accepted. ny other payment will need to be cleared before release of trikeany questions please asknew mot will be provided if full asking price is realised
