Honda CBR600 F - spares, repairs or track bike

Garage clear-out and other priorities force sale. Bought Nov 2010 as a project and extensively recommisioned.   Changed all fluids. plugs. air filter cleaned (K&N). fork oil. rear shock from '97 model serviced by MCT. chain cleaned & new rivot link. all bearings & suspension linkages regreased. valve clearances checked (all mid spec). carbs balanced. brakes overhauled. new cam chain tensioner fitted. etc.   Just a few hundred miles done in my ownership.   Much spent - receipts available. Good Points:  Mechanically very good for age & mileage.   Engine is strong. powerful. and sounds good (no nasty noises).   Gearbox & chain fine.   Suspension good. frame straight.   All fairings fully secured. Bad points:  Please note bike is in cosmetically poor condition & has no current MOT.   As such it will require the buyer to collect by trailer or van.   Most panels are scratched. have plastic weld repairs (to good standard).   Tank. frame & swingarm have some gravel rash to 1 side.   Also tank has dents and scratches.   All shown in photos. Has been dry stored 3 years but had fresh oil and fuel additive before lay-up.   Starts. runs. idles and carburates well.   Battery was removed and kept charged.   Would make good project or track bike.   Could pass MOT test with little effort. (Bike is sorn / not insured so I can't do this easily).   All lights & fittings are working fine.   V5 is present and in my name.   Exhaust is a bit noisy. however. and brake pads will need cleaning. Also for sale at extra cost are good Pirelli SuperCorsa Pro tyres (scrubs). -1 tooth front sprocket. and exhaust link pipe. Cash on collection please. UK bidders only. Sorry no buy it now price - at least for the moment.   I'm not sure of the bike's real value but obviously would like to achieve the best price. hence the auction.

I've tried to be as clear as possible on condition - if you want to view the bike to get a better perspective this could be arranged for pretty much any time up until end of auction.

Note that I've ordered a set of 2nd-hand bar end weights which will go with bike.   Also the exhaust is load (may need baffle insert for MOT) but system has no leaks.   Thanks and regards

Just to clarify. bike is straight and sound but has been dropped on both sides (low speed low-sides) so any damage is superficial not structural.

Repairs have been made as needed to make the bike fully road-worthy and useable.  

I have V5. and service book (2 stamps only) and the last MOT done in my ownership.

This and all receipts for parts & service items (approx total ?500) during my ownership are all that are available.

Selling as I have accumulated too many ‘toys’ over the past 8 years. which are now consuming too much time and I need to clear space.

Would take little effort and expense to make into useable road bike or good intermediate level track bike.

Just checked the paperwork pack and found that there is actually 10 further MOT test certificates going back to year 2000. And 1. 00 miles done during my ownership.
