Description

This is a one-of-a-kind 2004 Honda Shadow Spirit VT1100C. I bought this brand new in 2005 and I have customized it for the long haul ride. The paint is a beautiful Pearl Blue and I have had the extra components such as the hard saddlebags. Goldwing Trunk and Memphis Shades Batwing all painted to match. I placed a really sweet Mustang Seat ($650) complete with a adjustable driver's backrest and those stylish conchos on the bike for added comfort on those long runs. In addition. I have a high end ($125) Gel Seat Pad that fits perfectly on the seat for those extra long rides. And I didn't forget the comfort of new Kuryakyn floorboards ($189. 95) for both the front and the passenger. And for those long rides I have the MC enterprises Chrome Rollover/Highway bar ($189) with a set of Kuryakyn Longhorn Offset Dually Highway Pegs ($135) so you can stretch out on the longer rides. I also added a very powerful 118 Decibels Air Horn ($50) which is mounted to the top of the rollover bar just for added security. Believe me EVERYONE can hear you when you lay your finger down on the horn button with this guy ! And I added Memphis Shades Lowers ($75) just under the Batwing to eliminate any buffeting as you move on down the road. They are gradient blue to match the windshield. I replaced the smaller 7" headlight with the bigger 9" headlight from a Honda Valykrie ($200) to give it that grown up look which compliments the bike so well. And then there a number of smaller add-ons that aren't so noticeable including things like Skull decals on the lower forks. small chrome skull on the windshield. nbsp; extra chrome trim on the batwing. Tank bib with a large pocket. Etched skulls on several chrome pieces and of course the American Flag on the luggage rack. and a larger chrome Brake Pedal Cover. The bike has some custom painting on it as well. At the Honda Hoot one year I had the tank pin striped with red and white over and around the Shadow emblems. And on the front fender. I had a Grim Reaper painted using the same type color scheme. And I also added the chrome trim around the gas tank. And for your hands I have a set of a set of Kuryakyn Premium ISO Grips With Throttle Boss ($50) for easier driving on the long runs. It also has an auxiliary power adapter ($25) mounted on the inside left of the Batwing so you can plug up your iPhone. GPS. iPod. etc. I've also added a 3 position Auxiliary Power switch. mounted to the top of the brakereservoir that controls power to both the auxiliary lights on the lightbar and to the stereo unit. And of course there is a Chrome gadget holder ($65) to place your iPod. iPhone. etc. I use it to place my iPod there. which I plug into the stereo amplifier and I get the 600 watts of my favorite music as I ride. And of course don't forget about your tunes. I added a 600 watt stereo ($200). mounted under the seat. with two (2) speakers. mounted on the front forks and point up at a slight angle to the driver giving you some pretty good sounds as you drive down the road. To fatten out the front end to match the back I added a brand new Memphis Shades Batwing ($280) that has an extra ordinary paint job ($500) that a fellow down in Texas painted for me. I kinda like that skull and American Flag thing going on there. In addition. I added the lightbar and auxillary lights ($300) to complete the front end. There's plenty of storage space on this ride with the National Cycle ($720) Hard saddlebags painted to match the bike. complete with patriotic graphic decals under the clear coat. And don't forget about the HUGE Goldwing 1200 Trunk ($400) on the back end. It looks awesome. painted to match ($200). complete with a freshly covered set of Arm Rests ($125) . a Custom made Passanger backrest ($125). a chrome luggage rack ($75) and of course a large chrome skull. Mechanically she is sound as can be. She starts. runs. shifts and drives just like the day she was delivered. I've had her serviced at a local Honda shop. This isn't a 'Show Bike' but she is in what I would consider to be great shape. When she is not out for a ride she sits in my garage. on a battery tender. which I'll include. All together there is slightly over $6. 00 in add-ons that I have put on the bike and she needs absolutely nothing except a new owner.
