The bike that started the sportbike revolution. 1985 Interceptor 700. the term barn find is so over-used I hate to use it. So let's just call it a shed find. 3 years ago I bought this bike from a guy in Massachusetts. it had been sitting for all this time. it was his dad's bike and he never rode it. I bought it with 1070 miles. For a 30 year old bike it's amazing! I changed every single bit of fluid. sent the carbs off to Billy's V4 specialists for professional rebuild. I put brand new Michelin Pilot radials on it. and tons of other work. Everything has been done. I loved the look of the factory side fairings but couldn't find any. I finally found a place in California who bought the molds from Honda and they made me a brand new set(not cheap) lol. I put them on and added some Rothmans decals as a tribute. They are easily removed. or keep them your choice. The pics don't show but I just put a new old stock windscreen on. and also installed a USB port and LED volt meter. New HID headlight with new lens. Ram mount GPS/iPhone holder. magnetic tank bag with laminated map included. It came with the Supertrapp slip on exhaust. but I have the stock ones. I had them media blasted and was going to powder coat them but I loved the sound of these so much I shelved the idea. I've got the original owners manual. tool kit. and a Honda factory service manual. Sure. you can buy one of these bikes for under $1000. But if you actually looked at them. they're junk. I've got hundreds of dollars worth of extras. and this bike is a real all original survivor. The break-in decal is still on the tank! You're not going to find another one like this unless Honda starts making them new again. I hope I can find someone who would like to be the caretaker for some time like I did. you won't lose money that's for sure. these are getting scarce. I only wish I had more room or I would keep it. I have 7 bikes and it's time to thin the stable and let someone else enjoy it. I wish I could hang onto everything but it's just not practical. Thanks for reading my post. and think spring!Ride smart. ride safe. Brian
