1980 Honda GL1000KZ Goldwing

Here is my 1980 Honda GL1000 Goldwing for sale. This bike is a very beautiful classic & had many £££'s & man hours spent on it. As you can see from the pictures it has been restored from the ground up with tons of receipts to prove. This was a complete strip down of the motorcycle & a FULL engine rebuild too. This motorcycle turns heads every where it goes & gets many comments on how nice it is.

The engine rebuild was a strip down to examine any excessive wear on parts over 30+ years of use. I've replaced about 60% of the engine with brand new parts & gaskets mainly supplied by David Silver Spares which where very costly but well worth it to ensure the engine will run brilliantly for many more years to come. The engine went through a run in process to ensure all new parts would bed in nicely and evenly. now with that out of the way the engine pulls very strongly and runs sweet as a nut with not a single hiccup since the rebuild was finished. The frame along with all the other accessories were shot blasted and powder coated in a very nice shiny black to stop corrosion and to make the bike look in showroom condition! Everything bolted to the bike is new or reconditioned to make it extremely reliable. Electrical wiring was stripped and examined for breaks/weak points. Upgraded coils and electronic ignition to give better performance but keeping original look (expensive). New brake lines + pads. New seat. New mudguards. New paint job and gold plated badges. MOT is due in December but I will put a fresh 12 month MOT on it for the new owner for peace of mind. No tax on the bike as you'll have to tax it after the 1st of October 2014 due to new tax laws. Included in the sale is all the paper work. 2 sets of keys. Haynes manual and a full tank of fuel to keep you going.

Test ride is welcome if insurance is proved & full cash is given as deposit for the test ride. I will happily take you pillion to show how the bike performs if needed. If weather is bad the bike will not be taken out for a ride. I would like to keep the bike in showroom condition for a new owner.
