Description

If you are looking for an unmolested Honda Trail CT-90. this is about as good as it gets. We bought this bike about three years ago to haul on a carrier attached to our RV. for trips to the Rocky Mountains. Shortly thereafter we moved to Colorado. now we don't need to come here to camp. It would be especially good for someone with a motorhome. since your movement is limited once you setup camp. It shines like a ruby and draws a ton of attention. If you want one. are particular like me. then this one will make you proud. There is still a sticker on the speedometer "caution break-in maintenance required at 600 miles. which is a hoot since with only 324 miles we're only a little over half way there now . There are a few (very few) dings and small scratches on it. which are to be expected being 35 plus years old. It originally comes from the state of Wyoming. and was found in a barn there. When I got it three years ago it had about 290 original miles on it. The gentleman I bought it from is a retired Honda mechanic. who rebuilds Trail-90s for fun. He did a valve job. put new rings in it. flushed the engine/transmission case and filled it it with synthetic motor oil. put new tires and tubes. new brakes. acid washed and coated the inside of both tanks. rebuilt the front shocks and installed new boots. Since that time there has been no fuel in the small tank. The front fender had to be painted and the plastic shroud over the "sissy" bar was replaced. Beyond that he did a lot of spit polishing. adjusting. etc. to get it to where it needed to be. All work was professionally done with genuine Honda parts. and it shows. The wheels are straight. chrome on rims good. and the spokes are straight. It is awesome in looks and performance. In the fall I always add stabilizer to the main fuel tank and put it on a trickle charger for the winter. When spring comes it only takes one or two kicks for it to fire up. If the Buy Now option is used I will ship the 6-volt trickle charger. a shop manual. Trail-90 owners manual. and tool kit to you at no charge. within the lower 48 states. Shipment of the Trail-90 is solely the buyers responsibility. Of course I will assist in coordination with your carrier etc. but all shipping costs of the bike are the buyers responsibility. If you want to come get the bike. I live in Pagosa Springs CO. I have a 2" receiver hitch mount style motorcycle carrier for $75. 00. which you can pay for when you get here. Additionally. I'm retired so my schedule is flexible as far as helping you arrange/pick up the bike. A five-hundred dollar deposit will be due immediately upon purchase and the balance is due within 48-hours. Please let me know if you have any questions. If you are a serious buyer we can arrange to talk by phone. however if you just want to BS call someone else I've got other fish to fry.
