Description

It is getting harder and harder to find a Honda CB1100F that has not been hacked. chopped. cut up or modified. Maybe it is the age. or maybe it is because it was a one year only bike. Good:-Original exhaust. -Stock airbox-Runs well. Was a daily rider last year. Has not been taken out of spring storage yet. I will be starting the bike up the weekend of easter. See zero reason to expect issues. -Blue. making it the faster color. -OEM side covers are not all cracked up or missing. (one tab is broken though)-Good tires-Good brakes (like I said. it was a daily rider. This is not a "barn find" that has been sitting for 20 years)-Under 12k miles-Clear title in my name with no liens. -Paint cleans up well. Not a perfect bike that looks like new. but nice. Bad:-On longer trips I noticed that my left toes would get some oil mist. I assume a small leak. -Carb cross over would leak every now and again. -Ding/dent on the fuel tank. -Needs fork seals. I have them. but have not installed them. There is some pitting on the forks. -Starter clutch failed to catch at the very end of the season. I repaired the OEM starter clutch. Will also include the parts for the next owner to install an R6 starter clutch. This is MUCH stronger then factory. -Engine covers would benefit from a polish or repaint. -A few hours spent detailing the bike would do wonders. Extras:-OEM Honda factory service manual in binder-CBR600F Hurricane rear brake caliper bracket/hanger. This is a hard to find part needed for the CBR600F2 wheel swap-VF500 Rear sprocket carrier. Another part for the wheel swap. -R6 Starter clutch-Fork sealsWould make a great rider. or a base for a factory restoration. I make no bones about this not being a perfect bike. If you are looking for a unicorn to place in a collection then this is not the bike for you. But please make no mistake. this is not a pile of junk that should be discarded. I have done my best to describe the bike. Actually have over listed the negatives. Would rather scare off a buyer then have someone be unhappy. Rode the bike all over. Had it out at Mid Ohio for vintage days. She never let me down. Always attracts attention. Fun to ride because it is fast. even with todays bikes. Bike is located in north east long island. I now live in albany. so will not be able to show the bike. A lot of the reason I am selling it is that I moved. Would like the bike picked up the week after Easter.
