1995 Honda Shadow VT1100C2 ACE

****Bike currently has approximately 11. 00 miles on it. ONLY! (Mileage subject to change as I'm still riding it. ) Bike runs/rides/shifts gears VERY well. although it takes a little time to cold start it when the temp is below 50 F. and so the enrichener cable and/or carb floats probably need some adjustment. Engine (with single pin crank) idles fine and has the power it should. As is notoriously typical of these older Shadows. there is noticeable valve tappet noise. in this case coming from the rear cylinder. But. there is NO exhaust smoke (stock exhaust) at all and the engine has the power it should have. Also. there is no fluid leaking anywhere or backfiring from the motor. I did the following in the last 10 months:* replaced original gummed-up carburetor with a new "used" one;* cleaned the inside of a very dirty gas tank;* replaced petcock with brand new Honda unit;* re-built front/rear brakes with new seals. pistons and pads;* replaced stator and voltage regulator;* replaced rusted/peeling stator cover with a "brand new" one;* replaced rusted fender rails and sidestand with new "used" ones;* installed new windshield and new Kuryakyn handlebar grips;* replaced rusted rear wheel rim and cracked original tire with a new "used" combo;* replaced oil/filter and the driveshaft fluid;* installed a new battery (Motobatt);* replaced cable for fuel enrichener (choke);* replaced spark plugs;* flushed/replaced radiator coolant;*installed larger aftermarket mirrors; and *I had a local shop install a new front tire. The bike comes as noted in the pictures. Paint is original but NOT perfect--there are some scratches/scuffs on tank. There is a noticeable dent/scratch on top of the front fender. Bike comes with the Leatherlyke saddlebags. crash bars. radiator guard and luggage rack installed. I also have a spare ignition key and a Honda service manual. The seat is not the original but a Corbin replacement. It does have a 2-3 inch tear (seam coming apart) on the driver's seat. Bike has a clear Virginia title and passed VA State safety inspection in June 2014. *
