You are bidding on a beautiful Honda XL 80S. I don't want to overstate this bike. but as you can see in the images it is very very nice. This bike came out of an estate. and has been ridden very little. Some would call it stunning. The paint is original. the tires are original. actually everything on the bike is original to my knowledge. This XL 80S has covered just 640 odd miles. and the odometer is working. This is one great looking bike. Honda simply got it right with these. Cosmetic issues: The seat does have a dark stain. It looks like something hot. or something greasy was laid on the seat for a period of time. There is also one spot on the tank where the paint has rubbed off. Please look closely at the images. Mechanical: We put fresh gas in this (non - ethanol premium of course) and installed a new battery. This bike fired up easily and runs great. as you can see in the video. The blinkers and brake light are working. The horn beeps. One of the blinker bulbs had to be jiggled to work. The headlight and tail light are not lighting at this time. That will be up to the proud new owner to fix. Overall this is a great opportunity to own a built- in- Japan classic Honda. Just an Icon that you can actually ride. If you put this on the back of your motorhome - be prepared to answer a LOT of questions. Remember this is a real Japanese Honda - not made in Thailand like many of the new minis from the big brands. You can kick-start this one. It is quiet and just a pleasure to ride! Honda quality through and through. It is street legal in Montana. but who knows in your state? As this came out of an estate - a new and clear Montana title has been applied for. It will be mailed to the owner approximately 3 to 3 and 1/2 weeks after the end of the auction. If this bothers you please do not bid. Ask any questions first and have fun bidding. No warranty of any sort of course as this is a bike form 1985. and probably did not have one when new. 100. 00 deposit by Paypal at auction end. Balance by USPS Money order or cashiers check within 10 days of auction end. I can hold this bike in my secure garage here in Missoula for up to 21 days for your shipper to pick up. Missoula is right off I-90 so it's an easy route.
