Description

1973 CB350 Four - Japanese Domestic Market - Matador Red MetallicThis is a genuine JDM bike. Gauges and odometer are in KM. Triple tree bolt contains a warning light that comes on at ~80km which was the Japanese speed limit back in the day- fully functional. We bought this CB350F in 2005 when we lived in Hawaii - it still has the last Hawaii inspection sticker we got on the right side rear frame. A Japanese man had brought it from Japan in the early 80's to Hawaii. Originally planned for my wife to ride this as she was considering riding on her own machine rather than as a passenger. She rode it once and now we have a young kid and 2 other bikes so we don't need 3 machines. Hopefully a someone can enjoy this classic. Complete tune up including carb rebuild. rebuilt front master cylinder. new rear wheel bearings. and new clutch friction plates by the Retro Wrench done over the winter. Nearly all the parts I used to rebuild this machine are NOS genuine Honda parts from Western Hills Honda in Cincinnati. Problem areas - There is a very slight scratch on the right side of tank - hopefully it's visible in the pictures - perhaps not as it's hard to see in person. The speedometer floats some above 120KM/H up to that point it smooth and progressive. The Honda Tank badges I got from reproduction decals had lousy white paint - some flaked off leaving the chrome underneath exposed. I've touched it up with new paint but it's not perfect. In person inspections encouraged - bike is in Louisville. KY. Make arrangements prior to this Thursday as I'm heading to TN to ride Deals Gap this weekend upcoming. Rear pegs could be added as they just bolt on and a seat capable of carrying a passenger could be swapped with the solo seat currently mounted. It uses the stock mounting points.
