1974 Honda CB450 caf? racer with a 60's Honda CB450 engine and a clear title. No reserve. Mileage unknown. Runs and rides. Engine has good compression and moves the machine with ease. Pipes will get you some attention too. Freshened with seals and gaskets. valves were adjusted and carbs ultrasonically cleaned. New cables. Tach works. Cases and covers are polished. painted. or rare finned aluminum. Velocity stacks have all the air they need thanks to a brand new Ballistic battery that's been relocated under the seat. Pamco electronic ignition simplifies tuning. New ignition harness and updated components round out the system. No key! Two toggles and a momentary push button handle lights. ignition. and starter. New battery cables were custom made. We never got around to buying the balancer required to fully take advantage of the new battery so the electric starter doesn't have enough umph to crank the engine sufficiently fast in order to start. It's got a kick starter and it works fine. Lots of new hardware throughout the bike to minimize cheesed out bolt and screw heads. Silicone fuel line. new fuel filter. new custom petcock. Anything cut off the frame was ground and smoothed. Honda shimmy shock. Koni adjustable shocks. new gold chain. Honda running light moded for brake light duty. Gas tank was stretched to fit the head tube more closely. We have no idea what the tank is off of. Custom made knee pads and seat. Upholstery was done professionally. Second place at the local Harley show and always draws a crowd when out in public. This is a rider. It's a 40 year old machine that's been massaged back to life one more time but the new owner will require heart and understanding given the nature of the beast.
