2009 Honda XR650l 2,500 Miles, RUNS AND LOOKS LIKE NEW!

2009 Honda XR650l. 2519 miles. excellent condition. I am the second owner of this bike. Everything works like new. It doesn't need anything. The bike was completely stock when I bought it last year. It comes with two keys and the original owner's manual. I upgraded the stock battery to a new Shorai Lithium battery ($150. 00). They are lighter weight then the stock battery. and they have more cranking power. I also purchased the charger that goes along with this battery. ($75. 00) I purchased a Cycleracks rear rack ($200. 00) and also a Bestem Top Box ($80. 00) to carry cargo. The stock gas tank is pretty small on these XR's so I bought a Acerbis 5. 8 gallon fuel tank ($250. 00). which I haven't had the time to install it yet. I also bought a Moose Racing 48 tooth rear sprocket ($28. 00) to give the bike better low end power. (Haven't installed it yet. ) The bike also includes a 17 piece. Bikemaster Metric tool set. ($60. 00)The XR was ridden on back roads in the area. so it might have some dirt here and there that wasn't washed off the last time I cleaned it. But the bike was never taken off-road and beaten. It has a few scuffs and light scratches. but it is a Dual-Sport! My former bike (before the XR) was a Kawasaki KLR 650. The KLR was a much better street bike. but it was way too heavy. The XR is almost 70 pounds lighter. and has MUCH more torque. This XR650l is an excellent machine for country roads that transition between pavement and dirt. This is a great bike and I would love to keep it. but I need a more reliable truck then the one I currently have. So I need to sell my bike to help pay for another truck. OR I would be willing to trade for a LATE 1970's FORD truck that is in good condition. I would even be willing to trade my bike plus some extra cash for the right truck. If you're not in this area of Maine. I highly recommend checking into the cost of shipping the XR right to your front door. I have used Uship. com a couple of times now. and they are great to work with. The motorcycle is also for sale locally. so I reserve the right to end the auction early.
