This '71 CB 350 is a very nice example of a classic. In nearly original condition. it runs. drives. and handles extremely well. Here are a few items to note: If the bike sits for a few weeks – especially in cold weather w/o being started. it may require a few “choked” cranks for the bike to start up. Small dent on rear fender. top of headlight has some fading. Rear tire is new – front tire shows minor sidewall cracking - 75% tread life remaining… an older tire that you may want to replace. Any other cosmetic imperfections would be considered normal for a motorcycle of this age. Below are the maintenance. restoration. and upgraded items over the past 2 years: General Tune-up. including engine oilCarbs rebuilt. diaphragms replaced. carbs synchronized. New air cleaners - upgraded to cylinder-type (still have original "boxes" to revert back to original style)New Fuel petcock (still have original)New throttle cableReplaced Battery - (approx 1 1/2 years ago)Fuel Tank cleaned and coated with Red KoteTank and side covers repainted (new tank decals)Replaced rear tire - Carlisle (2 years ago) All electronics in excellent working order. Excellent compression in both cylinders - 155-160. Please don’t hesitate to request any additional pictures – details. etc. Also. please go easy on me regarding the video – heheh. I’m a tall guy and my riding stance is a bit goofy – as you watch me going up and down the road… That being said. take note of the engine’s power. the smooth shifting. and handling of the bike. If for any reason. the video doesn't play for you. please contact me. and I'll use an alternate method to deliver it to you. Video location: http://youtu. be/oQ22e71DQYk My two cents: By most accounts. “Motorcycle Mania” in the US was started by Honda in Japan with the export of the Honda Super Cub in the 1960’s. The pitch was: You meet the nicest people on a Honda… Still true! I believe that the 70’s decade was the Golden Age for Honda Motorcycles. The legendary 750. the Goldwing. etc. The 350cc engine was the perfect mid-size that balanced urban. suburban. and. rural travel. This CB isn’t factory-new. nor has it had a ground-up restoration. It is. however. an excellent and classic surviving example of a 44 year old Honda CB 350. Bike is owned by my brother - it's located near Boydton. VA. on the Berry Hill Plantation (approx. 1 hr drive from Raleigh/Durham Airport). For other than local pickup. shipping is the responsibility of the successful bidder. but. my big bro can provide assistance to help you ensure a smooth ship to your destination. PayPal payment of $300 will be required within 48 hours of auction’s end. For those interested. the Factory Specs short list appear below this description. Thanks for visiting our listing!
