1972 sl350 honda dual sport K4

Very low mileage. nder 2200 miles. Starts and Runs excellent. nbsp; mostly on first kick. Shifts great. Everything in excellent operating condition. New tires. tubes. chain. battery. shocks. points and plugs. all new reproduction silver cables. new seals and oil in front forks. headstock bearings cleaned and lubed. New air cleaner foam covers. The front wheel is 21 inch. Original mufflers were gone so I modified a set of alloy mufflers from a late model Yamaha street bike to fit. I did not modify the frame in any way to make this work. It uses the factory mounting points. Because the mufflers were missing I did not worry about totally correct restoration so it is kind of a resto-mod. Cleaned carbs. valves and timing chain adjusted and timing set. New paint. The clear coat is a 2 part catalyst so gas will not melt it if dripped on. New fuel petcock. The gauges had new faces put on them because the sun faded them. The mileage was not tampered with. The K4 is the lighter model with new frame. no electric starter. This sat in the sun to many years so needed a cosmetic refurb. The original color was gold. which I do not care for. It is Ruby Red which is a close match to a Honda color from a previous year. Mechanically was very sound other than carbs gummed up. The tank had been coated inside before I purchased it. It comes with 2 original Honda keys. Frame and engine have close numbers so is original. Lots of the rubber parts were replaced with Honda OEM parts. The tool kit is in place and the cover is still there. I don't have the owners manual. Front fork lowers. headlight ears. headlight ring. battery box and triple tree parts were powder coated black for durability. Hubs and rims are nice. the spokes have lost some of its plating which doesn't show in pictures. but you have to look quite close to see it. This is not perfect but is a very nice example of a 43 year old bike. I have a clear title in my name to transfer to new owner. $200 paypal security deposit.
