If you have been hunting for a very special Honda scrambler. this is the bike. I have probably had 30 Honda 450's in the past 40 years. and this is the best-running one. and also one of the cleanest and most original 450 Honda I have had. Nice smooth. quiet power. Bike is original in almost every way. Seat and tank are excellent with original paint on tank. This bike is not a restored bike- it has just been well taken care of for its' entire life. so I guess you could call it a survivor. The bike runs and drives and shifts perfectly with virtually no cam chain noise. Tires are very good. Cables are a little discolored from age but they work well. Bike has had carbs cleaned. synched. and rebuilt by me. Tank is spotless inside. I have set the timimg on the bike. This bike has electric start or kickstart. It is very easy to start and warms up quickly with no carburetion issues. Horn. turn signals. brake light. taillight. headlight. charging system all work. Pipes. heat shields. and chrome are all far above average shape. Bike has 7700 actual miles. It also has a new battery. Feel free to ask me anything about the bike or ask for detailed pictures of any components. Wiring harness is all original - not hacked! I have been a motorcycle mechanic. and I taught motorcycle mechanics at 2 community colleges. I have over 40 years experience with vintage bikes. I grew up riding these. Clear title. not salvage. Local pick up in Cincinnati. Ohio area on east side loop. Flaws are :Headlight does not switch from high to low beam properly although they both work- needs right handlebar switch. Kill switch on right handlebar switch does not work- you have to turn off the ignition key to turn off motor- needs that same right side handlebar switch. Small dent on top of rear fender where the seat flips up. it has pushed a dent into the fender. Wrong front turn sgnal- they do work and I have some of the correct shape and style that will be included.
