1960s (don't recall year but put 1966 in the listing for Ebay's rules) classic Honda CB77 SuperHawk 305cc 4-stroke twin. This is the sportier version of the Honda 305cc Dream and Scrambler. I owned a 305cc Super Hawk in college in the late 1970s. I modified it as a cafe racer with clubman bars. Bates TT cocktail shaker mufflers. Unifilters and more. I have always wanted another Super Hawk and bought this one to be it. Planning on building it as a modern version of what I rode back in the day. I bought this bike a few years ago from a kid in New York who was riding it until the day he sold it to me. So we know it is bascially sound and in fair running condition. The big issue was the worn out steeringhead bearings. I let it sit for a while until I could get to it. I replaced the worn out ball bearings and broken race in the steeringhead with a set of roller bearings and new races from All Balls. I am not too pleased with my installation and no longer have an interest in completing this project so it is for sale. Basically it is all there and pretty cose to original and correct. Engine. transmission and clutch seemed OK. No signs of severe accident history or hard damage. Wheels. forks and frame seem OK. Gas tanks is decent. seat looks good. Mufflers/exhaust and sidecovers a bit rough. These classic 1960s Hondas are climbing in value - especially the larger 305cc twins like the Superhawk. Dream and Scrambler. I always liked the SuperHawk the best - sporty. fast. decent handling. dual-shoe front brakes and fun. You can buy this and restore it to stock. build it into a cafe racer. bobber or chopper. I have and am including with the bike the original fork covers and front fender. I believe I have a clear title. stock ignition key and a shop manual or two. This classic motorcycle is eligible to compete in the USCRA's Moto Giro (something I considered). I have described this bike as accuratly and thoroughly as I know how. If you have questions please ask well before the auction ends so I have time to reply. NO RESERVE. So please bid to win. I do not offer a Buy It Now price. but always listen to reasonable offers. I ask that the successful winner arranges for payment in full and pick-up in 10 days or less from end of aution. The motorcycle is at my workplace in Stamford. CT. IF YOU CAN NOT PAY ON TIME. ARRANGE FOR PICK UP ON TIME. OR NEED PERMISSION FROM YOUR MOTHER. GIRLFRIEND. WIFE. BANKER OR HUSBAND PLEASE DO NOT BID!Classic Honda. vintage Honda. antique Honda.
