2005 GL1800 Goldwing, Candy Black Cherry, 1,832 cc's, ABS Model

CONDITION: Runs Great. Rides Great. Looks Very Good. People walk up and compliment this bike every time I go for a ride. It is a 30th Anniversary Model. it has the standard "Anniversary" badges on it. The official color is Candy Black Cherry. I have detailed all known blemishes or flaws below. and pointed to several in my pictures. Other than what I have specified. this bike has a few pings and scratches associated with normal wear and tear. PLEASE look at the pictures carefully and my information provided. HISTORY: I am the Second Owner/Rider. I purchased this bike in January 2012. it had approximately 47. 00 miles on it when I purchased it. Never wrecked. never dropped. The original owner apparently had the bike level dropped a bit. I am 5'9" and I can comfortably place both feet on the ground at stops and intersections. and I can't tell you how wonderful that is. balance wise. comfort wise and safety wise. It has been routinely serviced by my "local" Honda Dealership with me doing the minor stuff and most but not all of the oil changes. All the dash lights work as they should as well as the cruise control. Reverse works fine although I seldom use it. No CB Radio but the handle bar has the controls for one. NEW OR ADDED: Fresh Oil and Filter Changed on 4/28/2015 @ 64. 49 miles. It has a brand new Chrome Front Lower Cowl that I put on yesterday when I had the pictures for this listing taken. It has new Fog Lights (now 2 months old). New Front Tire and Front and Rear Brakes installed one year ago. April 2014 @ 60. 92 miles. The Front Tire is still in great condition. New Rear Tire on Nov 22. 2014 (dealer did not state mileage on my receipt but I have not. due to weather. put many miles on this bike since Nov. five months ago). I added Chrome Scuff Covers (just behind the Side Covers) over a year ago. still look like new. I replaced and upgraded all four stereo speakers last year; Radio works fine but I usually use an MP3 player with the standard hookup in the left side glove box. It has a "short" folding radio antenna which looks and works great. The windshield and seat were "new" when I purchased the bike. The windshield is in good condition and the seat has no cuts and is in good condition. FLAWS: The Radio Knob Lights on a portion of the Right Side of the Radio do not light up at Night. I pointed to a small "rub" place on the rear trunk in the pictures. The Left Chrome Shark Grill (bottom portion) shows chrome peeling off the "teeth". also shown in the pictures. The plastic cover over the mileage and information display is scratched badly. it does not hinder "reading" the display but it upsets me every time I detail the bike. All of these flaws were existing when I bought the bike and they were not disclosed by the Seller. I guess he thought I should have noticed them in the pictures of his sales-listing. Lastly. the Right Saddle Bag has a one-inch scratch that the prior owner apparently tried to cover up using a standard small paint brush; the color is correct but this certainly wasn't professionally done. I have also provided a pic and highlighted this issue. I will provide any additional pictures or information. or answer any questions you may have. I will make the vehicle available for inspection to any potential purchaser if given a 24 hour notice. either in the Knoxville or Madisonville areas. Tennessee. SHIPPING AND PAYMENT TERMS: I will NOT ship this bike. it is the responsibility of the purchaser to pick up the bike. I will work with YOUR shipper if you chose to do that. but I don't recommend using any shipping service that you are not personally familiar with. I am NOT a frequent ebay "seller". I usually buy things for my personal use. But I did sell an older model Goldwing several years ago on ebay. and the ebay purchaser initially attempted to use a shipping service that turned into a nightmare. He finally picked up the bike in person and rode it home (from Tennessee to Michigan). Please feel free to look up his comments (about me) in my "feedback" area if you have the time. A non-refundable $1. 00 deposit must be made to my Pay Pal account within 24-hours of the end of the bidding. The entire remaining balance of the purchase price must be paid in full within 7 days of the end of the bidding. and my banking institution must verify that the funds have cleared before I will transfer title and before the bike can be picked up. I prefer that the bike be picked up within 7 days of the end of the bidding. but I will work with the successful purchaser if need be on the pickup date as long as the purchase funds have been paid as specified. Summer-like weather has arrived in my area and East Tennessee is a beautiful place to pick up this bike and ride it to your destination of choice. I WILL BE RIDING THIS BIKE BETWEEN NOW AND WHEN IT IS PURCHASED. SO THERE WILL BE ADDITIONAL MILEAGE. I will not ride it frequently but I WILL ride it! I have tried to provide MORE information than perhaps you want. but I have tried to answer all the questions I would have if I were looking at purchasing a nice bike. I am only selling this bike due to lack of work. I do not have all the receipts of all the servicing that has occurred since my ownership - I never planned on having to sell it.
