Honda C102 Super Cub 50 50cc Step Thru Electric Start

1969 Honda C102. FOR SALE all original 1969 Honda C102. Vin # C102-C056127. We recently acquired this from the second owner since new. The second owner has had this bike on display at his local store in a climate controlled show room for nearly 25 years. Original miles are only 140 !!!!!!All plastics are original and in very good shape. There are several minor little shoe marks in the leg shroud as expected. There are also several little paint chips/scratches and normal storage and transport wear from the last 50 years. Blue plastic shines nicely. No fade or weathering. There are normal little tiny scratches here and there though. No perfect. Just really nice. The silver engine paint is peeling some on the magneto side. The points cover has a little oxidation. It's nearly 50 years old though. The title to this bike is registered as a 1969. All our Honda info states that these bikes were produced from 1960-1962. Some states were not picky about registration years ago and the bikes were titled as they were registered. Clean and clean Oregon title in hand. signed off correctly and ready to go!The original Bridgestone tires are in great shape. Tubes hold air. Tires do not have any visible weather checking or cracks at this time. Wheels spin true and straight. NO DENTS. Chrome shines nicely with very few little pits here and there. No rot or peel. Spokes are clean but most of them do have some dull looking little oxidation marks. Hubs and brake plates are clean with some original grease residue around the axles. See pictures. All lights work and function properly. All switches work nicely as well. New battery and a few new light bulbs. All indicator lights work correctly. Seat is in nice shape. The original blue cover does have some discoloration on the tops and sides. See pictures. No rips or tears. Foam is firm and not deteriorating. The red HONDA word on back of the seat is still visible but does not stand out in the pictures due to the cover discoloration. Cover material is soft and pliable. Cover is not stiff or crispy. Seat base does not have any rust. There is some paint peel on the underside of the seat base. See pictures. Pan is solid. Edges are solid and are not crunchy with rust. All cables operate smoothly. Brakes work as they should. Electric start functions properly. The original toolkit is intact and in clean shape. All tools look to be there with a few extras maybe along with a spark plug and spare fuse. This bike has been stored away properly 25 years ago. We drained the tank. cleaned the carb. filed the NEW looking points and fired up 1st kick. Engine runs smoothly and quietly. No knocks or ticks. Of the many times we have started it there has been just a tad of smoke when the engine 1st fires then quickly goes away. Could be oil residue in exhaust from storage. Runs and idles smoothly. Carburetor was nice and clean on the inside. LOOKS LIKE NEW. No leaks or drips. Petcock functions properly. Still has the original BLACK AND BROWN fuel lines on it. Lines are soft and pliable. 3-speed transmission shifts smoothly. Auto clutch operates correctly. No issues. Wikipedia states top speed to be 43 MPH. It cruises comfortably on flat ground at 35 MPH with me on it. Should go 43MPH wide open no problem. We took it easy though. It is still in the break in miles range. There is some rust pitting on the mirror bodies and stems. Mirror glass has fogged over during the last many years see pictures. The tail light lens has 2 cracks. The left side footpeg rubber pad is cracking and missing some of the rubber. There is minor pitting on the speedo rim and several of the body panel nuts and bolts. All could be cleaned and detailed with minimal time and effort but we're leaving that up to you. The inside of the gas tank is nice and clean. No rust or varnish. Has not been treated or sealed. Looks great. The result of proper storage prep!The exhaust and original baffle are in excellent shape. There are 2 little scratch lines in the muffler body right about where your boot heel would be. See pictures. No dents in the exhaust. Chrome looks good. Minor super-small pits here and there. Mostly around the mount bracket. See pictures. We are Bill's Motorcycles Plus of Salem Oregon.
