1982 Honda Urban Express Deluxe

This is a no-reserve auction for a 1982 Honda Urban Express. This bike is being sold with a title in my name. which is required on all on-road vehicles in Fl. and surprisingly difficult for the owners of these little scoots to keep up with. This is the Urban Express Deluxe and features an electric starter and oil injection system. This is a classic set of wheels that's as fun to ride as it is to look at. HIS SCOOTER HAS NOT BEEN RESTORED. I have; however. taken a good deal of time and care to get it working properly again. The carburetor has been taken apart and thoroughly cleaned. the cables lubricated and adjusted. spokes tightened. brakes adjusted. switches cleaned. etc. The result is a refreshed machine that is simply a blast to ride. it starts easily and runs well. putting out a reasonable amount of power for a 49cc engine. it has great compression and the oil-injection system works well. so you don't need to pre-mix gas and oil. The brakes feel good and work excellent. and the electrical system functions fine as well; lights. signals and even the horn. I believe the tires are factory and are as old as the bike; the tubes hold air just fine. and while they are aged. I believe they still have many miles on them. Florida does not require (as far as I know) a motorcycle license for bikes below 50cc. this scooter is street legal and ready for tags. It makes for a great way to get around the neighborhood.
