Original 1973 Honda CB750 Four. Flake Sunrise Orange. There are many so called "restored" bikes out there but very few remain as original unrestored so don't miss out. Sold to the highest bidder with no reserve. NO BUY IT NOW- SOLD TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER.1973 Honda CB750. Originally from California. The man I bought it from got it from original owner in 2004 after it had been sitting for many years. He rebuilt the carbs at that time and drove it about 2k miles and has been sitting for about 4-5 years. Has 13474 original miles. Clear Ohio title. Engine and frame match- CB750E 2209547 and frame 2207918. Appears all original except for handlebars and mirrors. Runs and drives but has been sitting. Engine sounds good. No smoke or unusual sounds. No leaks on floor. Needs carburetors cleaned from sitting but might smooth out with use. Shifts through all of the gears fine with no grinding or slippage. Bike will need the front brake rebuilt as is typical with these machines as it hangs up. Has a newer set of period correct Cheng Shin tires. Gas tank has been relined. The gas tank shows nicely but does have a small dent as seen and misc scratches from sitting in a garage for many years. Emblems and black portion look nice. The seat cover looks nice and original but the foam has broken down from the California sun. The previous owner has sprayed foam inside seat for support. All of the electronics work tachometer horn lights speedometer. Engine has no rash or damage but would benefit from a detailed cleaning from the carburetors leaking. The chrome overall presents well but again could use a finer detail. The tops of gauges have some light pitting. The rear fender has a slight crease. The exhaust is original with no rust holes or repairs. Still has the original diffusers. The bike overall shows well but has knicks and small imperfections. Does have all of the original safety labels throughout. Includes the original toolkit and owners manual.THIS BIKE IS NOT RESTORED. ALL ORIGINAL except lower style handlebars and mirrors. This motorcycle is an amazing time capsule and testament to the quality of these machines when properly cared for. Certainly not many exist in this condition. Email with questions.
