1978 Honda CB 750 Super Sport - all original bike

This is an all original unrestored1978 CB 750 Super Sport. As far as I can tell and was told by the previous owner prior to my purchase last year this bike is 100% original except for the tires and battery. The bike is in very nice shape for an original bike. Chrome is good engine case is nice and presentable seat is excellent wheels are very nice and it runs and rides great.

The bike starts up immediately even on a cold start. As with most of these bikes it takes a minute or two to warm up but there is no smoke etc. I have never noticed any oil leakage or usage in the year I have owned the bike. Someone has "drilled" the exhaust (see picture)- they did a nice job so it looks nice and sounds great. I put new tires on it last year when I purchased the bike as well as a new battery.

The bike is not pristine mint or flawless (I actually hate those words being used to describe a bike) but it is a 37 year old bike that looks great. One flaw on left side of tank (shown in picture) where decal is "torn" (the other spotsare reflections of clouds and not flaws - also it started to sprinkle as I was taking the pictures so those are rain drops on top of tank - not flaw in paint). Bike has original luggage rack that can be easily removed.

I have ridden this bike on several 200 plus mile trips and it has always performed flawlessly. I would not hesitate to ride this bike anywhere. Bike needs absolutely nothing to ride daily that I am aware of. I am NOT a dealer or a "flipper" - I am a bike enthusiast(currently own 12 and I am a member of the VJMC and AMCA) but am starting to sell those bikes that I do not ride often enough to justify keeping. All my bikes are kept in a climate controlled garage never "purposefully" ridden in the rain and very well maintained. The black bag on front forks is held on by zip ties and will be removed prior to delivery of bike.

I prefer buyer to pick up bike in person at my home; however if buyer prefers to ship shipping is the sole responsibility of the buyer. I will assist in any reasonable way possible but bike does not leave my location until payment has been received in full (and has cleared bank if paying with cashier's check). I am a honest guy and expect the same in return.
