HONDA CB 750 4 cylinder 1974 original condition vintage cycle

HONDA CB750 cc touring bike MFG date 9/73 Serial number 23145X Motor 750 E 23145X. 605 pounds empty 18023 original miles. This is an original numbers matching motorcycle.To be sold "AS IS" "WHERE IS" in "non-running condition " . The motor won't kick over after sitting through our long New York winter. Apparently this is a problem common with the older Honda cycles. They usually will free after up by soaking with penetrate or diesel fuel.the lucky buyer may arrange for local pickup or transport. The 750s are fast becoming a scarce commodity but are a fantastic bike which can be restored with little effort and cost. A few weeks ago we rolled it out of the shed cleaned off the dust and nothing else. This was one of grandpas favorite bikes but he stopped riding it after purchasing a new Gold Wing back in 1975/76.Bike was last ridden on thestreet about a dozen years ago. The motor ran strong on all four cylinders with no unusual noises. the clutch was strong but with the clutch lever cracked we have do not do anything unti l it is replace.. I have little time to tinker with it so it's time to find it a good home.. It's one of those bikes that you never forget.It was never dropped or wrecked and ran down the road straight and smooth. It still has a lot of integrity and is a great find for a buyer desirous of an easy restoration. Consider the great condition after 40 years. Amazing...!!! The good part is that most vintage Honda bbbparts can still be found online.The original mufflers developed some small holes around the bottoms which can be repaired/patched over If you like you can replace them with a new set for around $800. The orange metal flake paint is original and needs to be refinished. One side cover is crackedand need replacement. Missing cover emblem The original seat is intact but a new cover would do wonders for the cosmetics All the electrical was working but the bike now needs a new battery and some TLC. The turn signal lens are now on the bike and a new photo will be posted shortly. It's springtime so don't miss out on this great bike but please don't call me wanting to know my reserve or to offer some low ball price. It's for sale for no more and no less than the reserve price.This 1974 model features the faster stopping front disk brake which prior year models did not have.There are certainly cheaper 750 on the market but there are also more expensive one.
