Honda CH250 Elite CH ch 250 scooter 250cc automatic

This is a 1990 Honda Elite 250 scooter. For those in the know the 1989-1990 model year Honda Elite 250 is the most sought-after of the Elites. You hardly ever see one of these for sale. Runs and handles great. Really fun to ride.Nimble handling for urban areas butI have also ridden this bike on the highway at 70 mph with no problem at all (I'm 6'1" and 200 lbs). Plenty of power. Comfy to carry a passenger as well. It's an automatic so no shifting. If you need to commute on the freeway this 250cc scooter is highway legal unlike smaller scooters.Gets about 60-70 mpg depending your size and how you ride.Brake lock for parking on hills.Large locked storage area under the seat big enough for a helmet groceries or whatever you might need to carry. I've used this bike as a commuter and it has held my helmet jacket and messenger bag all at once.Everything on this scooter is fully functional. New Michelin tires new battery. The only issues it has are as follows: front tire has a leaky valve stem (it slowly loses air over a few days) some of the paint has flaked off of the aluminum drive housing and it has a few minor chips/cracks in the front fairing (see pics). The valve stem is a quick fix at a bike shop. I just haven't messed with it since I had the new tires put on a few hundred miles ago. The cracks/chips in the fairing are minor and not really noticeable from ten feet away and the flaking paint on the aluminum is typical for bikes like this. It's had an awesome life so far and has many adventures left in it. It spent a good bit of its life at the Coast Guard Air Station in Hawaii. I think it got the chip/crack in the fairing on the ship from Hawaii to California- it's never been in an accident or been dropped at all. Clean California title and current registration.Comes with a Honda factory service/repair manual original owner's manual Shoei full face helmet (size large) and Kryptonite U-lock.It's in great shape overall especially considering it's 25 years old. I doubt you'll find another one this nice for sale if you find one at all.
