Description

Selling my 1976 Honda GL-100 Goldwing. I haven't used it in a year and it's time to send her to a good home. The bike is winterized in storage in my garage in Glen Rock Pennsylvania. You are buying the bike in that condition - no joy rides. It needs to have the carburetors re-primed and maybe a new battery (though the battery is on a tender which is included). I just do not have time for it and my wife lost a friend in a motorcycle accident and has forbidden me to ride it ever again. Which pains me deeply as it's sex on wheels. That said it's in super shape and comes with a ton of extras. For those of you familiar it has about every Randakk Cycle Shack upgrade you can get. Randakk rebuilt all the carburetors and they were professional balanced (that was like $600). It has the spin-on oil filter upgrade. It has a bunch of new parts installed a a few others to go along like new fork seals (the present ones are OK though) timing belts factory service manuals and a ton or records to prove the upgrades by me and the previous owner. A year or so ago I just finished cleaning out the tank and sealing it. I haven't put a tank through it since then I think. That and the other typical Honda problems have been dealt with. This is the second year of the 999 cc flat four. It is shaft drive. It is a smooth and powerful ride and the motor is legendary for that. Tastefully modified with a Triumph slung cafe racer type seat. Chrome is pretty good. Paint is OK. I don't like the 8V emblems the last rider put on but they're just on with double-sided tape and come right off. The fuel has stabilizer in it the carbs are drained and the battery is on a tender (which goes along with the bike) so with a little help it should start right up. I'm not going to the trouble of going through it. I need the room in the garage and the bike needs to go. Clean title in my name. Odometer works and is showing about 48000 miles. It is a Pennsylvania title and will require a notary to transfer and the buyer will pay all sales tax and transfer fees. Buyer is expected to transport the bike and it does not leave my garage until paid in full and the title transferred. The first photos are a year old from when I put it away. The second set are in the garage - that spot on the floor is not from the bike by the way but from another old vehicle I have. No leaks I know of or any maintenance issues like that. It is very well cared for. The bike has a very modest reserve. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of the auction's close and the balance in 14 days. If you default you will not get your deposit back - I already went through that with some guy who wanted to make payments. It must be picked up within 30 days of the auction's close.
