’73 HONDA SL350 K2 Under 4600 miles

This low mileage SL-350K2 has been professionally serviced and rebuilt to its original riding condition. Everything operates as designed starts immediately smoothly runs and idles at 1200 rpm.

The tank and one side cover were professionally painted and had their decals replaced. The chrome on the wheels forks and handlebars are free of corrosion/pitting and in excellent shape. The aluminum engine side covers fork tubes and wheel hubs have been polished to a mirror finish. It also has the original tool kit cable clip mirror plug and battery cover.

Replacement of new parts:

Bronze bushing kick-starter idle gear upgraded cam chain rollers all cables tool box lid electronic voltage regulator/rectifier long wearing aggressive tread tires inner tubes battery chain fork oil and dust seals air filters plugs gaskets (top end side covers carburetor exhaust and petcock) NOS hardware rebuilt front fender cushion mounts brake switch and the option of an entirely new exhaust. These are stainless steel reproduction mufflers not prone to corrosion like the originals. The buyer will have the option to keep the existing exhaust system or upgrade to stainless mufflers and new headers.

Disassembly maintenance and inspections completed:

Valves were lightly refaced carburetors ultrasonically cleaned timing and valves adjusted oil changed oil filter cleaned stripped to frame and repainted brakes and clutch adjusted and lubricated tank free of rust clutch plates/springs and friction disks are like new and on top end of spec.

Included with this bike is a clear title and one key for the ignition and the matching lock set on the fork and seat. Any shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer and I’m willing to negotiate reasonable pick-up arrangements once payment is made.

The kick-starter idle gear is a weakness on this kick-start only model. The original Honda gear has a thin steel sleeve which quickly wears out creating slop in the kick-starter. The gear in this engine has a heavy-duty bronze sleeve press-fit into the gear and is superior to the original Honda design.

In addition the stock rubber cam chain rollers have been replaced with a CNC machined hardened steel sprocket and polyamide roller which is a stronger longer lasting more precise solution.

I hold a free clear title for it in my name.It is also locally listed for sale and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. The buyer is responsible for local pick-up or all transportation costs and arrangements. I will only accept cash or bankcertified check for final payment.
