This museum-quality forty year old 1975 Honda CB550F Super Sport has been part of the seller's collection for ten years. Seller is a retired CEO avid biker who is trimming the number of bikes he owns to a more manageable level.

This bike includes a Honda factory parts manual and microfiche Honda 1975 new bike brochure the December 1975 Cycle Guide Magazine with full road test and bike on cover PLUS miscellaneous documentation and paperwork---TWO BINDERS TOTAL! (see photo)

This bike was released 6 years after Honda introduced itsline of 1969 CB750 superbikes now deemed "Bike of the Century". The CB550F is slightly scaled down in size --200cc less --and still features the inline four cylinder engine four carbs and a factory Honda four-into-one exhaust header. With its glassy Sunrise Orange-Flake Honda factory paint and brilliant chrome/polished surfaces this motorcycle has a STUNNING JEWEL-LIKE APPEARANCE. Cosmetically it is as close to perfect as you can find. Seller has not found a flaw on it. Please look carefully at the detailed photos.

Likewise this bike is mechanically superb. Fuel system and carbs are perfectly clean and tuned. Tires are excellent (Dunlop). Battery is new. The engine runs like new - smooth quiet and powerful. Starts and idles perfectly. Chain and sprockets show minimal wear. Clutch and transmission operate as new.

This bike needs nothing to enjoy riding showing or being a great addition to any collection.
