I am selling my 1978 Honda CB550. This classic motorcycle was restored just over two years ago to something close to it's original condition. Exhaust pipes are aftermarket - and were replaced before I purchased it.I bought the bike three years ago and it was in storage for some time before that. It has been maintained well over the last few years.It now has 24260 miles on it. The bike is beautiful as is for a complete restoration project or for a cafe racer modification. Bike runs great. I just replaced all of the engine gaskets and most of the O-rings. Cylinders and pistons are in great shape. Engine timing is set. Valves are adjusted. Battery is brand new. Electrical is solid. Electric starter and kick-starter work great. You'll probably need new tires after this season. Bike comes with well-used maintenance manual. I'm asking $2000 OBO. I'm willing to negotiate a little. Keep in mind - this bike did not just come out of the junkyard so don't bother making junkyard offers. Also no deliveries. Seriously inquiries only. Thanks!!
