1986 Honda NightHawk CB450SC

Up for auction is my 1986 Honda NightHawk 450. I bought this bike as a project not running and definitely not road worthy. I have since done a lot of work to it. It runs pretty well and is a very fun bike to ride. It has new plugs and wires. I cleaned out the carbs and had to re-wire the rear electrical. Everything works except for the tachometer. It didn't work when I got it and I have never had one so I didn't really care. They're a crutch anyway :). As far as I can tell the only part missing is the left side panel. You can find them on ebay and even new from a dealer. I have thought of buying one because it could use a paint job anyway but I have other projects that I need the cash for. It is all original and has just over 12k miles. I put about 1000 of those on it since finishing it just a few months ago. I ride it to work pretty much everyday. I did put a new master cylinder on it for the front brake...off of a 750. The bike stops like it gets paid for it. Again this thing is very fun to ride and I am complemented on it all the time. It is a fantastic beginner bike and would make a great project for full restoration or bobber/cafe build.This is cash only being sold as is and will need to be picked up locally.
