1984 Honda GL1200I Gold Wing Interstate Great Classic Motorcycle

Selling my '84 Gold Wing Interstate. I bought it over 10 years ago from my boss at the time. It had been very well taken care of and I followed in that tradition. The motorcycle is not mint but is in excellent shape for a 30 year old motorcycle. With that said it has original paint accessories and chrome so there is some wear and some rust. The seat is in good shape but there is about a 2 inch tear in the driver's seat and a repaired spot on the passenger backrest. The original owner put some hideous orange carpet in the rear trunk and some of that remains. I removed a good portion of it. The bike has been regularly serviced and garage kept. I put 2 new tires on it in April and also had the carbs cleaned and synced. About 2 weeks ago the speedometer control went bad so the bike has a brand new one along with speedo cable.I ride the bike pretty much regularly with the exception of bitter cold and snow/rain. The charging system has been checked and works fine there is an aux amp meter installed. I have replaced the factory driving lights and the auxilliary light bar around the saddlebags work. The bike has the antenna for a Sirius Satellite Radio but I don't have the receiver. I also have 2 extra windshields the waterproof saddlebag liners an extra amp meter and an extra radiator guard which I will add. If I find any other extras I will throw them in as well. While I was washing it last weekend the Pioneer AM/FM/CD got wet and quit. I replaced it this week with a brand new DUAL AM/FM/USB/AUX MP3 player that is marine grade. I have found that listening to music on a flashdrive or Ipod/Iphone is more convenient as there is no skip when you hit a bump. The speakers were replaced several years ago with a set of Pioneer speakers. Battery is about 2 years old and the bike is "Battery Tender" ready. I will even throw in the charger! I would ride this bike across the country today I am selling it to get an ST 1300 which is a bit smaller and in my opinion better suited to commuting. I have really enjoyed this motorcycle and my wife and I have done a few weekend trips during which it has performed flawlessly. This is the king of the touring class! It's just too big for a commuter. I have 100% Positive feedback as a buyer and as a seller. You will not be unhappy with this bike.I forgot to mention the bike comes with the original Honda Gold Wing Air Pressure Gage and the factory cover as well!
