Description

I have up for bids a motorcycle that i was restoring for my wife to ride. She injured her rotator cuff and will not be doing any cycle riding in the near future if ever. I am selling because she can't ride and I can't afford to stick any more money into it! The bike runs great but needs a right side throttle control and switches. I have been searching for an original one and have not been able to locate one. I do have a couple of controls that would work if you knew how to wire it all because it does not use the same colored wiring as my original used(the original one had bad starter button that broke inside unit). I have the bad harness wired in right now so that I can start the bike by bypassing the selenoid. Anyways this winter I had the carbs all rebuilt and I installed a new gel battery and new rear tire. I also located a new Harley thunder muffler that I installed(looks and sounds better than the original!) This bike came with a vetter fairing on it so i had to remove that and I found an N.O.S Headlight assembly with fork ears and turn signals online. The seat is in really nice condition and I do have another pair of rear shocks that are in nice shape that I will also include. I have not ridden this bikebut I have started it up and shifted thru the gears and everything works as it should. My reserve price is very reasonable and reflects the fact that the bike needs the controls for the right side. This factory color is super rare according to the Honda forum(not many were produced!!) The inside of the tank is pristine and the outside has a few chips with some light surface rust(in my opinion not bad enough to repaint) otherwise normal patina for a bike with this vintage and these miles. I took a little steel wool and some dawn dish soap to the chrome and it cleans up nicelyI don't think anything would need to be replated. The rims are not chrome and are in very nice condition. This is a bike that is going to need a little work to get on the road but I think it will be a sweet bike when finished. If you have any questions or concerns please e-mail me and I will get back to you asap. I do have some connections for shipping and will help with loading.
