We are an RV dealer in the mountains of Western Maryland. You are looking at a non-RV that we took on trade towards an RV. It is a privately-owned unit that was traded in to our dealership - it is NOT something we bought at an auction, t is NOT a repo, t is NOT a salvage piece. We avoid items like those, or the same reason you do - you just don't know what you're getting. But if a customer wants to trade an item like this in, owards an RV purchase...well...equity is equity, nd if we think we can sell it, e'll take it on trade!
I really LIKE this motorcycle - WOW!! I'm a sportbike guy. I've owned traditional v-twin baggers; I own sport tourers; I own track bikes; I own naked bikes. I thoroughly enjoy a capable motorcycle. I like power, love precise handling, trong brakes, redictable chassis reactions, nd adjustable suspension so I can set it up the way *I* want, ot just the way some engineer thinks it "should" be set up. I also like riding long distances. Long, ike Maryland-to-Florida. Or, day trips from MD around Lake Michigan. Or day trips that end up around 800-900 miles by the time I hang up my gear. This F6B is a PERFECT bike for any of that - you aren't wrapped in a cocoon of fairings like on a standard 'wing. You get some fresh air - it feels like a motorcycle. It's got a COOL look with all the blacked out bits. It's lighter than the full-boat 'wing. Less gadgets, ut you still get a nice front end to keep weather off you; a nice stereo that will work with your iPod or phone; a SUPER comfy seat; amazing brakes; a very competent chassis; super-smooth ride; and a ridiculous amount of power and torque out of the same 1832cc six that powers the fully-loaded Gold Wing family. This is, or lack of a better description, "muscle-car" version of the Gold Wing. Big engine, ittle package. And...I really LIKE IT. This particular bike was a trade-in here at our RV dealer, owards an RV purchase. The miles are low, he mechanicals are stock, nd it has been extremely well cared-for with only a Klock Werks windscreen and some aftermarket highway pegs being the only real changes to it. I buzzed it around the block (a few times, ctually...hehe...) when it came in and wow, was pleasantly surprised. Amazed, ctually. First, t's got a great look to it. It is definitely not "grandpa's 'wing"! Low, ean, mooth, tealthy. It fires right up. Nice and quiet, erfect for those longer rides without giving yourself a headache or making your ears ring. Comfortable seating position. Great handling. Strong, rogessive brakes. And when you give that right hand a twist? LOOK OUT! If you're used to riding traditional V-twin baggers...forget everything you've learned on them. Lean forward, rab some throttle, nd HOLD ON because this F6B is going to put you into the next county...FAST. And, t has brakes and handling to match the power. This is actually one of the best all-around motorcycles I've ridden in a very long time. If I didn't already have a full garage at home...I'd be tempted. VERY tempted. I AM tempted, ctually. Which is why I refuse to let myself ask if I can take it home one night after work. I know I'd want to keep it. So please, omebody - click that button and take this thing out of here so it stops torturing me!! If you want to come check it out, lease do. Our location is above in a Mapquest link, ou can plot yourself some directions right to our door. I'm here Monday-Friday and if I know you're coming, 'll be sure to ride to work that day so I have my gear with me. Bring your motorcycle license, nd your riding gear, nd we'll go for a spin - me on mine, ou on your new F6B! We've got some great mountain roads just a stones throw from our doorstep, nd I'll be more than happy to chew up some miles with you so you can see how nice this Honda is. Just make sure to ask for Joe when you get here, nd I'll answer any questions you've got about this motorcycle!!!
