Up for auction is a premium condition 1968 Z50AK0. This bike has been painstakingly refurbished and has so many new parts you will think you are looking at a new bike. The following description will give you an idea as to all that was done to complete this bike. Please forgive me for using the word “New” so many times but like I said almost everything on this bike is new. I think anyone would agree that this bike looks fantastic but unless you have restored one yourself you can’t really appreciate the amount of labor and money it takes to restore one of these bikes to this level Engine and Transmission
Rebuilt motor and transmission. New piston and rings. New timing chain, ears, nd rollers. New oil seals and gaskets. Lapped and resealed valves. New clutch discs. New shift fork and shift drum pins. New points, park plug, ondenser, nd spark plug cap. New shift & kick start rubbers. New fuel line. Re-chromed air cleaner with new foam. Rebuilt K0 carburetor with new float, eedle and seat, low and main jet. New side cover. Cases have been painted silver with new phillips screw. Polished cam gear & tappet covers. Original re-chromed the original head pipe, xhaust guards and original K0 muffler in excellent condition with the correct verbage with a new stinger.
The bike starts on the first kick and runs like a dream.
Wheel, ires, nd Drive
Wheels sand blasted and powder coated cloud silver. New original NOS style IRC tires, ew tubes, ew wheel bearings and seals, ew brake shoes. New sprockets & chain. Polished K0 hubs with rezinced hardware.
Front Fork and steering Assembly
Fork legs re-chromed Assembly with new fork seals & boots, nd the K0 triple clamp was polished. All new CHP white grips, vory plastic levers, ontrol cables, nd K0 handlebars. New OEM handlebar knobs.
Bike Body and Frame
The frame was pressure washed and sand-blasted prior to powder-coat and it looks gorgeous. The gas tank is a welded neck K0 tank painted in two-tone Honda Yellow and White. New fenders have been powder-coated cloud Silver. New NOS Honda seat and New NOS fuel cap, ll of the Honda correct large "8" bolts have been re-zinced. New NOS foot-pegs and kickstand. Other sellers tell you the bike is fully restored and replace the bolts with hardware store bolts. All original brake hardware and correct number “8” bolts have been cleaned polished and re-zinced to look brand new. Shipping & Handling Shipping to the lower 48 only. A friend shipped a Z50 from CA to MD for about $400. You will need to make the arrangements yourself. The bike weighs about 120lbs. I will deliver it to the Forward Air terminal here in Los Angeles. I won’t crate the bike but if you want to ship by forward air please include an additional $50 to cover the cost of tie-downs and a good lock. Payment Details
