1982 Honda CBX Unmolested survivor in near new condition.

Description

Circumstances change and it is time to sell my beautiful 1982 Honda CBX. This motorcycle sat in an enclosed garage for approximately 20 years before I purchased it in 2014. It is excellent condition with low mileage. I believe I am the second owner. When I bought the bike, intended on keeping it so I did my best to make it a reliable rider. To that end I did the following work.

New Shinko, our Master tires front and rear. The tires are less than one year old and have approximately 1,500 miles since installation in September 2014

Tank cleaned and sealed in November 2014

Complete carburetor overhaul and sync in November 2014 (carb overhaul was completed by Mike Nixon, ne of the best CBX carb tuners in Southern California.)

Complete valve adjust and de-carbon in November 2014

New fork seals and Progressive springs in March 2015

The bike has the optional Honda clock and altimeter mounted in the fairing. Both work as designed.

Included with the bike is the tool kit, he original owner's manual, shop manual and an original cable lock supplied by Honda when the bike was new.

The tank has one small ding that did not show in a photograph.

Valve cover could use to be stripped and refinished, just didn’t around to it.

This is truly a "turn-key" bike and turns heads where ever I go.

The bike is currently in Anaheim, alifornia. I encourage any bidders to come look at the bike before bidding. I will make it available for inspection by appointment.
