1983 Honda 550 cc.nighthawk

1983 Honda CB. 550 Nighthawk. 17,000 K. condition is everything. all stock but the set cover. saddle man cover.there is not one dent or scratch on this bike. the chrome exhaust is rust free. this nighthawk has bin very well taken care of. six speed trans, n-line four, haft drive bullet proof motor. it runs & shifts like it did when it was new. this bike needs no repairs what so ever. a true turn key bike. gas tank is rust free inside. fork seals have bin replaced so no leakage there. the carburetor's are dead on synced & varnish free. tires & brakes are fine. i have the original tool kit & owners manual.look at the pictures. none of the tab's on the side covers are broken off or glued back like you see a lot.i have owned a lot of 80's Honda's & this one is right up there in the very good condition. these 550 nighthawk's are getting harder & harder to find let alone in this shape. the 550 cc.nighthawk was only made one year. 83. it has the same cases as the 650. the four cv. carbs are 30 mm. & it red lines at 10,000 rpm. 75 horsepower at 9,500 rpm. with the six speed trans/overdrive, ighway riding is not a problem. this 550 is quicker then one would think. it is a sweet motorcycle. i do have it for sale locally so this ad can end at any time. until i get the first bid. when you bid on my bike i will follow through with this e-bay ad until the end. so please do not bid on it if you are not committed too. call me for more info. 239-900-4625. this way i can fill you in on more about the bike. i have lived in Florida for a long time. & this nighthawk has been in Florida for a long time too. it is kept in a a/c room with my other Honda's so no weather has gotten to this unit what so ever. i ride it weekly so miles will change.
