Vintage 1973 Honda CT70 Trail 70 K2 Mini Trail

Up for auction is a 1973 Honda CT70 Trail 70 K2 that I am selling on consignment. It does NOT have a title. It has a build date of 6/72 but is considered a 1973 K2 model. The bike has been nicely restored and with a few custom touches added. This bike starts easy and runs great and shifts through all of the gears smoothly. The engine used was a very low mile example from a nice K0 model. It had approx 500 miles and ran great and was taken apart, leaned up and new gaskets installed. The paint was matched and was professionally painted and everything else was powder coated silver or black. The seat pan was repaired and new seat foam and aftermarket seat cover was installed. All of the chrome on the bike is original and great care and time went into selecting parts that were in top condition. The wheels are custom billet aluminum with new tires. All of the aluminum on the bike has been polished. Most of the parts on this bike are oem or original but it has a few aftermarket parts including wire harness, andlebars, eat cover, illet wheels and cables, ick start lever.
Condition Notes: This bike is very nice and detailed and a lot of quality work went into this but there are a few items of condition to note: There are a few tiny chips on the edges of the swing arm paint and paint touch up where the axle rubs on the swing arm. There are scuffs on the tail light lens. There are a few very light marks and tiny dings in the chrome because they are used originals. The foot pegs are missing the ball bearing and spring that keep them up when folded up and they look slightly tweaked in relation to the frame. This is not a 100 percent correct restoration for a K2 model but is mostly representative for the year and looks great.

I will help a shipper load the bike on a truck(I can recommend a few good motorcycle carriers). $100 deposit to be made through paypal within 24 hours of the auction closing and full payment to be made within 10 days of auction closing. Final payment after deposit to be made with cash, ank wire transfer or cashiers check only ( cashiers checks must clear bank account before bike ships).
