1971 Honda C-70 M Gas Powered Moped (Scooter), only 1650 original miles

Female owned. I received it from my parents at the age of 14 to get myself to school and marching band practice.
Very nice condition for it's age.New tires, arb kit, lasher, ngine and hubs cleaned and painted, hain restored etc.Work was done 2 years ago and only 20 miles put on it since.
Only the first two years of production have the full length seat like mine.This is a 3 speedHas electric start & kick start and both work fine.Has manual choke you adjust as it warms up.Features an on/ off/ reserve gas petcock.Has left side mirror.Has small dent below license plate on rear fender, small crack on the base of the cowl where you step thru.Tiny nick in rear bottom edge of seat.Missing chain guard. Neutral light does not light. There is a lightbulb by the ignition that should light when key is on but bulb is burned out and plastic bulb cover is missing.
Includes a CTEK 6 volt trickle charger to keep the battery charged. Connector is installed to battery for ease of use.It is not pristine- has some scuffs/ pitting / wear but a nice scooter that's been rehabbed. Photos show the original license plate but it now has a new Oregon plate on it.Clear title and current Oregon license plate, egistration and tabs that are good thru May 2017.
Photos-- Last photo is mer at the age or 14 with this scooter right after delivery. 2nd photo shows mileage after restoration. Now at 1658..5th photo shows VIN tag with number, nd month & year of make.6th photo shows the small crack on the cowl at the step-thru point.7th photo shows dent at bottom of rear fender and tiny nick in lower left corner of seat.Photos show 2 stickers on the front splash guard- a US flag and an Alabama flag. These were given as a gas station promo back in the day.There is also 1 unseen sticker on the side of the cowl behind the knee guard- it is a Vestavia High School parking sticker. It was a window sticker so is attaced backwards and hardly shows.
I am the original owner. It was bought for me by my parents in 1972 from a Honda dealership in Alabama where we lived at the time.I rode it for 2 years to school and back until I got a car. It spent the next 41 years in my mothers garage in S. California until I brought it back a few years ago.I had a professional go thru it and fix it up for me. I am selling it at a loss.
I am not a mechanic and have described it to the best of my abilities.Scooter is being sold "AS IS".I encourage anyone who is interested to come out and inspect it before bidding.Winning bidder will either need to come pick it up or arrange for it's shipping at their own expense.
