offered for sale is a very nice mostly original cl350 scrambler.
first a little historyon the bike from the past few years. I bought the bike back in april of 2015 from a man in Omaha ne.. He bought it fromDillon Bros. cycles in Omaha in the fall of2014. Dillon Bros had this bike hanging from the ceiling as a display bike and decided to auction off over 150 bikes last fall. This was one of those bikes.. the guy in Omaha paid 1900 for the bike in non running condition and never really got it to run right.. then I bought it in april..
This is what I have done to the bike since I've owned it.
replaced the crapped out cv carbs with period correct mechanical slide carbs from a Honda sl350 motosport along with new cables and NOS k&n filters. also I retimed the bike and replaced the oil and spark plugs. ( this gave the bike much snappier bottom end power and it starts right off now no mater how long it sits.) I believe it would be wise to adjust the timing chain and valves yet though I have not had time to do it..Also the float level needs to be tweaked a little bit if you park the bike and leave the fuel valve on the carbs leak gas out the overflow tubes. paint is original and decent really no rust at to speak of on the chassis. you can tell the wiring harness has been cobbled up a little bit but everything works except the speedo and tach lights.. Happy bidding and good luck. I been much more honest describing the bike to you than it was described to me..Starting bid is the reserve so as soon as there is a bid it has a new owner..also have some extras if your interested.( the old carbs notput together and a second exhaust system if you want to build a custom exhaust and not cut up your good pipes)
