In my opinion this is the most original 1985 GOLDWING out there, he original VINTAGE RED PAINT & ACCENT COLOR & STRIPES are as BRAND NEW. The bike has only one chip the size of a pea on top of the tank by the ignition switch that is almost invisible, as no scratch's or dings/dents anywhere. I have done all the work to bring this bike back from a long storage and added a few items I thought it should have, uch as a volt meter and oil pressure gauge where the CB was located, he CB unit will go with the bike, o not know if it works, oes turns on. Below is a list of all that has been done and now is almost show room new. I have put on about 2K mi. and bike is super nice and very fast.
I have some photos of the bike with out the trunk on it, ooks like a bagger. I put on the trunk and the very RARE color matched engine side panels so you can see a fully covered bike that gives you the look of the 1500 & 1800 models. I have owned 2 1500 models and this bike will flat walk away from them, on't know about the 1800. Bike also comes with lower air dam and brake caliper covers, lutch & brake master cylinder covers, ike 1/2 cover and factory service manual along with owners original manual & tool kit.
Below is the list of all the new item and service I have performed to bring this beauty back to rode worthy and be proud to own, ine I am 74 years young, just don"t ride enough, o will let some else have the pleasure to own such a great Goldwing, still enjoy working on restoring them. I HARD WIRED THE 3 YELLOW WIRES FROM THE STATOR TO GIT RID OF THE COUPLER THAT WAS THE MAIN CAUSE OF STATOR BURN OUT
VOLTAGE @ CONSTANT 14.5 AT SPEED, IL PRESSURE AT 45PSI @ 65 MPH & NORMAL TEMP.

I left out a very important item, pulled the carb's and did a full cleaning, djusted the floats, e-installed them and synced and adjusted the idle to 950-1000 rpm for a nice smooth idle.
I also pull apart every electrical connector and dilectic greased all of those I could get to without taking the bike apart.
