This is an early build 1993 CBR900RR. I am the third owner. This bike is immaculate and near perfect. The one and only flaw on the body work is one small 3/16" X 3/16" mark on the tailpiece. The tank and fairings on this bike are PERFECT. Not one, ingle dent or scratch on the tank or fairing. There is not even a rock chip on the front of the bike anywhere. The paint is not faded even one percent from new. The tank is perfect inside as well. There are a couple of small scratches on the alternator cover. The rear wheel has some fine scratches as well. If you are looking at this auction then you already know the historical significance of the 900RR. The only modifications to the appearance are a rear fender eliminator (very tastefully installed with the factory blinkers) and the tinted windshield. It does have a full Two Brothers ceramic coated exhaust that is perfect as well, ithout the lightest scratch or dent. it is relatively quiet as well. The perfect factory exhaust is available. It has fresh Conti tires and is ready to ride. I just replaced the battery and voltage regulator rectifier. Included is a factory Honda shop manual. I purchased the bike from a friend who is an aircraft mechanic. He informed me that the original owner ( a very wealthy man) had the engine upgraded when the bike had less than 1000 miles. He had a 954cc forged piston kit professionally installed and at the same time had the stock camshafts specially ground for higher street performance and some other internal performance upgrades as well, ncluding a Barnett clutch and heavy duty springs. The bike was recently run on a local rear wheel dynamometer and it made 139 RWHP. There are dyno sheets available. I can attest that it runs like it has 139 hp. It also runs perfectly around town, ust like a stock bike. This 900 has had the best possible care taken with storage & riding and it shows. It is obvious upon inspection that it has never been abused or mishandled. There may be a better 1993 900RR out there but the only one I know of is at the Barber museum. If the winner buys this bike and it is not what I say it is when that buyer comes to pick it up, will reimburse the deposit. I do not need to sell it, o if it doesn't sell here I will be happy to keep and ride it. I welcome and encourage serious buyers to come and inspect the bike, ear it run and ride it before purchase. No tire kickers, lease. The bike is for sale locally and seller can terminate auction at any time. If you are serious and want pictures of any particular detail, mail me and I will get you a pic as soon as possible.Good luck and bid with confidence.
