Honda CB750 k5 1975 750k

I acquired thisplanet blue 1975in 2013 as a projectfrom the original owner who parked itinhis shed in 1983.It had a couple of stuck pistons justfrom sitting all of those years soI pulled the engine and disassembled the top end,for inspection. I purchased NOS .020 oem Honda Pistons. block was professionally bored/ honedand resurfacedfor properclearances,cylinder head was disassembled andinspected, alve guides were checked(all within spec, three angle valve job, esurfacing and reassembly with new seals. Before final reassembly ofengine removed all side covers cleaned checked the clutch condition, etailed the engine before doing the final assembly with all new gaskets. while the engine was out of the frame I cleaned and polished the chassis and components, eplaced the steering head bearings with tapered rollers, id a fork service with new seals and oil. lubed and checked all pivoting parts. rebuilt the front brake hydraulic system. replaced all cables. mounted up some new oe style Dunlop tires.I then reinstalled the engine, put a new EK oring chain with new sprockets. installed freshly serviced carbs with new oem air filter,new Japanese points plate assembly, nd new Yuasa Battery.I have gone through this bike from top to bottom and it is mechanically 100%.its a nice cleansurvivorthat Ibuiltto be ridden.it doeshave some minorcosmetic faults, the tank has the small round dent in the top left, t is not creased and could possible be popped out by a dent repair guy. original paint on the tank is nice, nd it is clean inside.plastic side coversare nice with no cracks or repairs, hey have been repainted because the original owner had painted them black for some reason.it is planetblue base clear butdoes not match perfectly but is very close.most of the chrome has minor pitting,a couple of small dings in the front fender. The original 4 into 4 pipes are rock solid and in great shape.(Baffles have been removed). This is a beautiful running ridingbike that needs nothing, nd isready to go on the road. I have been a motorcycle mechanic for 20 years and working on and rebuilding old bikes is something I enjoy doing in my spare time. I can help in the shipping of this bike.
