1970 Honda CT70

I have up for auction a 1970 Honda CT70 with a build date of 06/1970. The serial number is CT70-189472. I bought this with the intentions of restoring it, ut have not had the time so it’s better off served in the hands of someone who will put it to use.

The engine does run when spray with carburetor cleaner or starting fluid, he carburetor does need cleaned and rebuilt. I have not personally ridden it so I can not say if the transmission works as it should, ut can say it shifts fine with the engine off.

Overall the frame and engine all look to be in good condition for their age. The frame looks straight and I have not found any dents. The tires are have some cracks but are useable and hold air. There are 2437 miles on the odometer. The bike is not 100% complete, did my best to take many photos so you can see what your bidding on.

The previous owner put a few spots of weld onto the kick starter and the kick start shaft (see picture). It also appears that the left foot peg was re-welded back onto the mount slightly crooked at one time (see picture). The exhaust was repaired at some point, sleeve was placed over a damaged/rusted section of the exhaust pipe (see picture).

I’m offering the bike to be sold as a restoration project, owever with minimal work it could be ridden and enjoyed. I do know that it needs an air filter, uddy pegs are missing, orn button is not present and the headlight switch is missing the selector.

Sold with a bill of sale only, do not have a title.

PAYMENT: A $150 Paypal deposit must be paid within 48hrs of the auction ending. The remaining balance is due within 7 days via cash on pickup or Paypal. The bike can be shipped, owever it is at the buyers expense. It’s the buyers responsibility to arrange and pay for shipping. Motorcycle must be picked up or shipped within 14 days from the end of the auction unless other arrangements are made.
