Description

1977 Honda CB750K motorcycle. I picked this bike up about a year ago needing a little work, oth cosmetic and mechanical. I've gotten it back on the road and it's running and riding again and I'm looking to move it along and get back to work on another project.
The Good:
$500 worth of brand new Progressive suspension all around (1204B rear shocks with chrome heavy springs and new progressive fork springs). New high-quality repro sidecovers with original badges. New 530 O-ring chain and new sprockets (18/48). Nice set of alloy rims off a CB750A with nearly new tires. Super clean set of Shoei saddlebags. Much of the original parts of the bike are in excellent shape. The stock tank for instance is easily a 8.5+/10. Clean inside and out, ice original paint with just a small chip here or there. The gauges are also really nice. A lot of the original chrome shines up well, ut shows some pitting here and there (especially the fork ears). It's not a "restored" bike in any way, ost of the parts are original and show 35 years of well cared-for life. Everything works as it should (lights, orn, tarter, tc, tc). A little over 26,000 miles, ut that may go up as I am riding the bike a bit on the weekends when I have time.
The Not-So-Good:
The exhaust is a set of original head pipes with a aftermarket slip-on mufflers. Nice sound, ut not real pretty. The headpipes show some corrosion, nd a previous owner attempted to seal and touch-up the joints between the pipes and mufflers and didn't do a great job. The same PO used silver paint to touch up rust here and there, ike the joints of the fork ears and such. Looks ok from 10' or so, ut up close is pretty plainly visible. The seat was recovered with a repro seat cover. It fits reasonably well, ut not quite as well as some higher-quality versions.
Overall the bike is in decent rider shape. I haven't ridden it much since fixing it up, ust a little on the weekends. Has a slight stumble just-off idle, robably from sitting around too much. It is getting better as I ride it a little more. Just completed a spring tune-up and oil change, lus a new chain and sprockets.
In addition to the bike as pictured if the winning bidder is interested I will include a matching Shoei trunk and white Windjammer fairing with CB750 mount (unpictured, n storage). I have all the keys, ardware, nd wiring adapters for the fairing too. I also have a set of factory stock pipes that are included. Unfortunately some previous owner cut out the baffles at the end, ut the pipes themselves are pretty clean and solid (no rust through). My plan was to weld in new baffles and reinstall them on the bike, ut I haven't gotten around to it yet.
Bike is being sold strictly as-pictured and as-is. Please ask any questions before bidding. Local pickup only (no shipping). $500 deposit required via PayPal within 48 hours of the close of the auction (or immediately if using Buy-it-Now). Remainder due viacashat pickup.
