Description

Original 1964 Honda CT200 Motorcycle
Here we have for sale a rare and unusual 1964 Honda ct200 motorcycle. These are the first ct90's that Honda produced in the mid 60's. These are similar to the late 60's bikes but the engine is completely different. The engine is a Pushrod style engine rather then the typical Honda 90 style. The engine has a cast iron head and cylinder. Just take a closer look in the pictures, otally different then a regular 90 engine. The engine runs nice and smooth. It shifts through all the gears when you are ridding the bike. It's a nice overall motorcycle that you rarely ever see. This has been a part of my collection for a few years now but now it's time to let it go. This is the only ct200 I have ever seen come up for sale in my area. This bike is original and not modified or been altered. The paint has scratches and chips in it throughout the bike. The front end has some chips in the paint. It appears that the front fender, as tank and swing arm has been repainted at one time, he paint is just not as nice as the frame and rear fender. The front headlight bucket has been replaced but the red is off and does not match perfect to the rest of the bike. The handlebars have nice and shiny original chrome on them. The grips are rough on the bike. The tires are original but are cracked, he front tire has a slow leak in the tube. The chrome rims are all complete with some patina on them. The original ct200 exhaust is in nice shape with not rust through like these pipes typically get. I rebuilt the original carburetor and went through the fuel lines. I also rebuilt the original seat seat with new foam and cover. The foam is very firm, t doesn't give at all. I had the bike on display so it didn't matter but if you plan on riding the bike, he seat is just very firm. I put a new battery in the bike too. The head light works and same with the horn. The tail light doesn't seem to work. I have not looked in to it. The speedometer doesn't work either. I put a new speedometer cable on it but it might not be the right cable. I do not have a title with the bike. Again, do not have a title with the bike. I can provide a bill of sale to the winning bidder. Overall the bike is a great old vintage Honda that shows some wear and tear but is still a great collectible motorcycle that will go perfectly into any collection. Please look at all the pictures and please let me know if you have any questions before bidding on the bike. My phone number is 775-830-6760. Thanks for looking!
