I have too many bikes and not enough time. It's time to let a few go to new homes where theycan be enjoyed and ridden. This 1990 VFR is the only year of this body style with red paint and white wheels. It shows normal wear for it's age. There are some small cracks in the fairings but I've taken closeups of anything big. The previous owner rode mostly on highways, o the center of the tires are pretty worn out and squared off. The previous owner placed something on the seat that left a round stain on the driver section and the passenger section under the rear seat cowl. Under the rear seat are very cool flip out grab rails (in picture, ight one is up/out and left one in folded in). I do have the original muffler that is included with the sale in picked up or buyer willing to pay shipping. The tail lights look like some chemical was used on them that clouded them. The inner rear fender (mudguard) was cut down (original fender extended almost to thecenter lineof rear tire). I do have an uncut used rear inner fender that I will include with local purchase. The box is big, o it might be cost prohibitive to ship. There is a little stain on the windshield that's hard to see from the outside (see pic), ut easy to see from riders side (see pic). The only big broken fairing piece is the piece of the upper just below the left handlebar.
The bike currently starts but only runs for 15-30 seconds before it dies and you have to restart it. I'm guessing it needs a carb cleaning and tune up, o I thought I'd list it with a low reserve for someone who can do this tuneup on their own. If it doesn't sell, 'll take it to the dealer and then relist it with a higher reserve. It needs a new battery, ut if the final price reaches $1500, 'll get a new battery for it.
Ask me any questions.
I uploaded pictures of the stock muffler. Its near perfect.
