1976 Honda Goldwing GL1000 1,821 Actual Miles

We received this bike from the original owners. It has 1,821 actual miles. It had not been ridden for over 15 years. It is a very nice bike but I would say that it probably sat outside for quite awhile. I only say that because the seat has been reupholstered and the top of the tank is sun faded. There are some minor chips in the paint on the tank but overall the bike is in very good condition. It is not dented or beat up and has never been laid down.
The bike does need some minor repairs. The tires, hich are probably original, eed to be replaced before the bike is ridden much. The carburetors need to be cleaned or rebuilt, s it does not want to idle. However, ith new tires I would ride the bike and put fuel through the carbs as I rode it and it started running better after 10 miles of riding.
Other than not wanting to idle, he bike runs and rides excellent. I forgot how smooth and how well these bikes run. It made my Harley feel like a piece of junk.
With a little work this would be a great daily rider, very easy restoration for a show quality bike, r a great candidate for a trike conversion.
