1983 Honda GL650 Silverwing Interstate

I have run out of time to keep working on this. I've put an enormous amount of work into this Silverwing:
- The bike was completely stripped down and the frame, wingarm and most other steel parts powdercoated.- Engine stripped down and honed, ew rings- Camshaft was restored by Web Camshafts in California- New Starter clutch gear, tarter clutch housing and springs- New cam chain- Clutch basket "fingers" all filed smooth with all new clutch plates (both steel and friction)- New swingarm bearings- New All Balls tapered steering stem bearings- Wiring repair on the connector from the alternator- Electronic speedometer- New tires- Probably other stuff I'm forgetting..
The bike was a mess when I picked it up, efinitely years of neglect. Someone even had a Honda CB550 clutch basket in this poor thing, t took me a week to figure that one out. There's a little over 400 miles on this since I rebuilt it and the last time I had it out riding was yesterday.
There were a few issues I was still working out.- An occasional clunk during shifting. I believe it's coming from with the driveshaft or the rear end gear. - Speedometer reads low occasionally. Odometer stays accurate though.- Blew a fork seal on the right fork.- Could use a better kickstand
Included is the rear seat which was a choice opposed to the trunk that's on it now. You could have a trunk or rear seat with this but not both at the same time. I also have a complete CX650 motor that is included in the auction. With that motor comes a GL650 output shaft, hich according to what I have read, as the onlydifferencebetweenthe CX and GL 650 motors. Plentyof stuff here to keep you busy for a while.
It's 100% as-is/where is with no warranty. Consider it a project bike that you will need to do some work on.
