2000 Honda Valkyrie Interstate-Blue full-dress touring bike with CB radio

This bike is a full-dress touring model of the 6 cylinder, 500 cc Honda Valkyrie. The engine is a higher-horsepower version of the legendary Gold Wing GL1500, ith a beautiful chrome presentation instead of being hidden under plastic. I have owned the bike since it was 6 months old with 2,400 miles on it. Many trips to many places and always reliable, ncluding a trouble-free ride to the top of Mt. Washington in NH in early August 2015! As you can see from the pictures it looks great for its age and (currently) 99,300 miles; the bike stilldrawscompliments most every time I ride it. All electronics including CB, M/FM and intercom work. It is fine mechanically with the exception that it needs a new right front fork seal and the front brake pads replaced due to fork oil getting on them. July 2015 Motorcycle Consumer News lists the 2001 model of this bike (oldest year they reported) at a value of $6455 without the $2500 worth of extras I have added, ncluding the CB, Hondaline and Kuryakyn chrome items and wind deflectors, tc. If you are familiar with the GL1500 line you know how reliable thedrivetrainis; with proper care this bike should take its next owner many miles. Invest in the fork seal repair and you�ll have a bike that does mosteverything my new $28K Gold Wing does at a small fraction of the price and (IMHO) looks even better!
