1975 Honda CB500T the big sister to the CB450 and CB350
This twin was only made 2 years. 1975 and 76. This girl was a barn find. She was literally just sitting in a barn when I found her last year. I spent the winter doing a restore/modification. Most everything is original (engine, rame, heels, ank) but I installed new mufflers, eat, and and foot controls, ires, nd electronics.
She has an upgraded front brake. I installed a Brembo master cylinder, steel braided front brake line, nd new brake pads.
She has a new lithium ion battery under the cafe racer tail. New electronic ignition (no points to mess with), ew spark plugs, ew regulator/rectifier, ew updated fusebox/fuses, ew brake lights and turn signals (all LED).
The plate is a collector plate so you never have to renew the tabs. Ever. I have the title, lean and clear and in my name.
The front forks have been fully rebuilt and powder coated satin black. Installed brand new rear shocks. She has just over 9,000 original miles. Only 100 of those I put on after this project.
There are tons of things I am forgetting to mention right now, ike the beautiful fresh black paint and original HONDA tank badges. She has electric start AND kick start.
This bike sounds super bad ass. In the 100 miles I have ridden her I get constant looks and questions. People love this bike. She is beautiful. Her name is Betty White.
The bike is not perfect, t's 40 years old. However it is in great shape. If you have any questions or want close up pics of anything I can text you more pics.

Also I was asked to list anything not positive about the bike. The frame and swing arm are good but if you want a show bike they would need to be powder coated. Also the rims and spokes would need to be polished. There is a small dimple in the tank that I didn't notice before painting. Not big but the glossy black paint made it kinda stick out at the right angle. It looks like maybe it could be easily popped out.Just in my opinion I do not care for the way the bike rides. The cafe style is not very comfortable. I think it is kinda hard to shift, ompared to a regular style bike. Just my opinion. The bike needs a taller or longer kick stand. It is short and honestly rusty. I didn't bother with cleaning up the kick stand because it will need to be welded or replaced to make it longer to the bike sits more upright when parked. Again my opinion. The bike needs a really good tune. I do not know how to sync the carbs or adjust them. She runs fine around town and on the freeway but I think it would run better if professionally tuned.
Any other questions let me know.
